Jay Entrikin

 

Chef Jay began his culinary career in the greater Seattle area in 1989. After graduating from the Western Culinary Institute, he trained under both a Master French chef and a James Beard Award–winning chef, building a strong foundation in classical and modern technique.

Throughout the 1990s, he worked in a range of upscale restaurants across Seattle and Portland, refining his approach to Northwest cuisine and ingredient-driven cooking.

In 2004, he joined Walla Walla Community College as a Culinary Arts instructor and later served as Director of Culinary Arts. After two decades of teaching and program leadership, he retired to focus fully on his own work.

He is now the chef-owner of broth X, a specialty takeout concept centered on modern, globally inspired, ingredient-forward cuisine.
