Robin Leventhal
With nearly 40 years in the culinary world and more than two decades in the classroom, Robin Leventhal is, quite literally, a well-seasoned chef.
We are thrilled she is partnering with EAT to lead globally inspired classes that bring bold flavors and strong technique to your kitchen. Long before she fell in love with cooking, Robin had her hands in clay. Mud pies may have been her first masterpiece. She earned her MFA in Ceramics from the University of Michigan, then moved to Seattle, where she spent more than 30 years as a chef while continuing to create art on the side.
In 2013, she joined the Wine Country Culinary Institute as an instructor, which became the perfect next chapter after life as a Top Chef competitor and restaurateur.
Craft is at the heart of everything Robin does. Her teaching goes beyond recipes and focuses on the skills behind each dish. She gives you a strong foundation and encourages you to layer in your own tastes, traditions, and the freshest seasonal ingredients available.
Think of her as your guide to learning how not to follow a recipe. You will leave with the confidence and competence to make every dish your own, something you will proudly share with friends and family and refine each time you make it.
